Dr. Rebecca R. Kline, Research Task Force Chair, is the Executive Director of the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. She also currently serves as president of JNCL-NCLIS, the Joint National Committee for Languages-National Council on Languages and International Studies. Dr. Kline has chaired the Northeast Conference and served on the Group of Advisors of the NSEP (National Security Education Program). She has taught French in public schools, and at both Dickinson College and Penn State, where she is currently an adjunct faculty member specializing in instructional and research methods. Dr. Kline’s Ph.D. is from Penn State. Her doctoral thesis won the Association for the Study of Higher Education’s dissertation of the year award in 1993.
