overview
Colleagues are cordially invited to participate in research task
force activities and projects designed to help us achieve the following
goal:
…to support a research community in a knowledge-based profession
by representing its multiple perspectives; investigating and shaping
its priorities; facilitating access, dissemination, and application
of findings to all constituents (including the general public);
and creating and maintaining links to the larger field of educational
research.
In simpler terms, the task force is dedicated
to the notion that all world language and culture educators should
play a role in determining (1) the questions we need to answer
about teaching and learning languages, (2) how they are answered
and by whom, and (3) what is done with the findings.
