overview
The goal of the Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment
and Articulation Task Force is to produce online and paper documents
that synthesize information to guide and inform local decision making.
Specific products will be evaluation tools and exemplary samples
in areas impacting student learning of languages.
Seven action groups are addressing current issues in each of the
following areas:
- Materials Selection
- Curriculum
- Assessment
- Program Models
- Technology
- Diverse Student Populations, and
- Articulation
Each group will collect information on existing
research and resources, including examples of excellence, develop
evaluation and selection criteria and produce on-line reports targeted
for teachers, curriculum directors, school and university administrators,
school boards, boards of trustees and other who make decisions in
these three areas.
