Within the context of the Two-Way Immersion (TWI) project, professional development has taken place in two different ways. The first is the training and consultation done with teachers, parents, and administrators on-site and in workshops, focusing specifically on pertinent questions, teaching practices, program logistics, and the TWI curriculum. The second form of professional development is in the presentations and dissemination of information and research data from the TWI project at local, regional, and national conferences.
